Our Warranty

We Stand By the Work We Deliver with a 2-Year Guarantee

What Our Warranty Covers

At Taylor Signature Painting, we stand behind our work on painting, pressure washing, and new home maintenance  services with a comprehensive 2-year warranty. This guarantee covers workmanship for projects completed by our team, ensuring your home or business in Saint Augustine, St. Johns, Duval, and Flagler County remains in top condition.

When you choose Taylor Signature Painting for your residential or commercial project, you’re investing in quality that lasts. Our 2-year warranty demonstrates our confidence in the superior craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every project we complete. We understand that your property is one of your most valuable assets, which is why we use premium materials, employ experienced professionals, and follow industry best practices to ensure exceptional results.

This warranty coverage applies to all work performed directly by Taylor Signature Painting, including surface preparation, paint application, pressure washing services, and new home care treatments. We take full responsibility for the quality and durability of our work throughout the warranty period, giving you complete peace of mind.

Why We Offer a 2-Year Warranty

At Taylor Signature Painting, we believe in standing behind our work completely. Unlike many contractors who offer minimal or no warranty coverage, we provide a full 2-year guarantee because we’re confident in the quality of our services and the expertise of our team.

Our warranty reflects our commitment to long-term customer satisfaction. We don’t just complete a project and move on – we’re invested in ensuring that your property continues to look beautiful and remain protected for years to come. This warranty gives you the assurance that if any issues arise related to our workmanship within the two-year period, we’ll make it right at no additional cost to you.

We’ve built our reputation in Saint Augustine, St. Johns, Duval, and Flagler County on quality work and exceptional customer service. Our warranty is just one more way we demonstrate that your satisfaction and the longevity of our work are our top priorities.

Warranty Stipulations

While our warranty is comprehensive, certain conditions and situations are not covered under this guarantee. Please review the following exclusions carefully:

  • Work not performed by Taylor Signature Painting. Our warranty only covers services completed by our professional team. Any modifications, repairs, or touch-ups performed by other contractors or property owners void the warranty for affected areas.
  • Work for which Taylor Signature Painting did not supply the paint or materials. To ensure quality and compatibility, our warranty covers only projects where we provided all necessary materials. Using customer-supplied products may result in performance issues we cannot guarantee.
  • Exact paint match, as environmental conditions will affect the color and finish over time. Natural weathering, UV exposure, humidity, and temperature fluctuations cause gradual changes in paint appearance. These normal environmental effects are not manufacturing defects or workmanship issues.
  • Bleeding caused by knots, rust, or cedar. Certain wood species, particularly those with high resin content like cedar and pine, contain natural tannins and oils that can bleed through paint over time. Similarly, rust stains from metal fixtures or oxidation may eventually appear. These are material characteristics rather than application defects.
  • Cracks in drywall, plaster, or wood. Structural settling, temperature changes, and humidity fluctuations cause building materials to expand and contract naturally. These movements can create cracks in substrates that were not present at the time of painting. Such structural issues are beyond the scope of paint warranty coverage.
  • Peeling, blistering, or chipping where caused by mildew, glazing from cedar, ordinary wear, abnormal use, or peeling of layers of paint existing prior to our work. While we thoroughly prepare surfaces before painting, pre-existing conditions in underlying paint layers may eventually cause failure. Additionally, areas exposed to excessive moisture, improper ventilation, or unusual wear patterns may experience premature paint deterioration.
  • Structure Defects: Settling or movement, moisture content of the substrate, abrasion, mechanical damage, abrasive cleaning, abuse, or damage from chemicals or exposure to harmful solids, liquids, or gases. Paint systems cannot compensate for fundamental structural problems, inadequate building maintenance, or damage from external sources. Issues resulting from foundation settlement, water intrusion, impact damage, harsh cleaning methods, or exposure to corrosive substances are maintenance and structural concerns that fall outside warranty coverage.

This limited warranty does not cover the above conditions. If you have questions about whether a specific situation is covered under our warranty, please contact Taylor Signature Painting directly. We’re happy to discuss your concerns and explain how our warranty applies to your particular project.

For Your Warranty to Be Valid, You Must:

To ensure your warranty remains active and enforceable throughout the full 2-year coverage period, please adhere to the following requirements:

  • Pay the full contract price. Warranty coverage becomes effective only upon receipt of full payment for services rendered. Partial payments or outstanding balances may delay or invalidate warranty protection. We recommend keeping all payment receipts as part of your warranty documentation.
  • Retain a copy of the original contract. Your original service agreement contains important details about the scope of work, materials used, and specific warranty terms applicable to your project. This document serves as proof of our professional relationship and the specific services covered under warranty. Store this contract in a safe place where you can easily access it if needed.
  • Retain a copy of your cancelled check or other evidence of payment in full. Proof of payment is essential for warranty validation. Whether you paid by check, credit card, electronic transfer, or another method, maintain clear records showing the full contract amount was paid. This documentation protects both you and Taylor Signature Painting by confirming the financial terms of our agreement were fulfilled.
  • Make the property accessible to Taylor Signature Painting to perform the repairs. Should warranty work become necessary, you must provide reasonable access to the affected areas during normal business hours. This includes ensuring clear pathways to work areas, removing any personal belongings that might obstruct repairs, and coordinating scheduling with our team. Failure to provide access within a reasonable timeframe may affect warranty coverage for the specific issue in question.
  • Structure Defects: Settling or movement, moisture content of the substrate, abrasion, mechanical damage, abrasive cleaning, abuse, or damage from chemicals or exposure to harmful solids, liquids, or gases are not covered. It is the property owner’s responsibility to maintain the structural integrity of the building and protect painted surfaces from damage. This includes addressing water leaks promptly, maintaining proper drainage, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners, and preventing physical impact damage. The warranty covers our workmanship, not issues resulting from inadequate property maintenance or external damage sources.

Important Warranty Information

Repairs under this limited warranty will be performed only on the specific areas where peeling, blistering, or chipping has occurred and only to the level of surface preparation. We will not repaint entire walls or structures if the issue is isolated to a smaller section. This targeted approach ensures efficient warranty service while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Your warranty begins on the day of project completion, as documented in your final invoice and completion certificate. The 2-year coverage period starts from this completion date, not from the project start date or contract signing date. We recommend noting this date in your records for easy reference.

For any questions regarding warranty validity requirements or to discuss your specific project details, please contact Taylor Signature Painting directly. We’re committed to maintaining clear communication and ensuring you understand all aspects of your warranty coverage.
